It is the natural hub for pressure conversion: multiply the input value by its "to-Pa" factor to get pascals, then divide by the target unit's factor. All conversion factors here use the exact or best-practice values: 1 bar = 100,000 Pa (exact), 1 atm = 101,325 Pa (exact by definition since 1954), 1 psi = 6,894.757 Pa (derived from the exact pound-force and inch definitions), 1 Torr = 101,325/760 ≈ 133.322 Pa, and 1 mmH₂O (at 4 °C and standard gravity) = 9.80665 Pa.
